My family loves Veggie Tales from Big Idea Enterainment. There are a lot of options out there in terms of television entertainment for kids, but I know I have to be mindful even of the programming that’s marketed directly to them. After all, it was on a children’s network that my daughter learned how to make spitballs and got the idea to write “I suck” across the seat of her sister’s pants. So, it’s refreshing to find an option, like Veggie Tales, that upholds and reinforces the values I’m trying to instill in my kids. And as a mom of two (soon to be three!) little girls, I’m truly excited about their new DVD scheduled to hit stores on August 3rd: VeggieTales: Sweetpea Beauty, a story that teaches a valuable lesson about true beauty.
